What Is Fall?

What is fall/autumn?

Fall to me used to mean the end of summer, which equates to sadness. I think for the first time in my life I’ve actually been looking forward to this time of the year. We get cooler weather , and not the skin-sizzling heat from the summer, we also get earlier mornings, which I absolutely love sitting on my balcony or going for a cool morning walk. I think I really enjoy the feeling nature gives me as a reminder to transition to from one season in my life to the next. Fall (Autumn) starts late September and lasts until late December, and gives us a preview of the winter temperatures that lie ahead, while still treating us to some summer like days.

The first thing I usually do when the season starts to change is purge my closet. Here is where I take a moment to say thank you to the style and fashion of the spring and summer, and time to get ready for the cozy gear 😊 Want to know the secret to getting rid of clothes, (coming soon) my step by step guide on how to actually get rid of clothes and donate them. The second thing I do when that first cold snap comes into season is go to my local health food and/or pharmacy to stock up on more allergy medicine, vitamins, and cold/flu medicines. When the temperatures drop our bodies feel it to the point where our cells literally say, “hey our defenses are down, pump up the power of what we do to keep this person alive”, and so they do this by exerting more energy. If we aren’t replenishing and taking care of our body through this season, we will definitely feel the effects. If you want simple things to implement into your routine to improve the quality of your life during the season, stay tuned but here’s a hint.

There will be posts made throughout the season on ways to improve and enjoy this fall season, so bookmark this site and come back at least twice a week for more updated tips to tune into.

Bye for now!
