How To Stay Motivated?
This is undoubtly probably a question we all will ask at some point in our lives, because we are insatiable people who want “more” of “something”. But sometimes that “something” requires a consistent action, and with the colder weather confirming the thoughts of “but this bed feels so cozy” or “I’ll wait for it to warm up outside” or my favorite “what’s the use”, we still need to get things done.
I refuse to drop some Motivation 101 how-to instruction/checklist to ensure you stay motivated, because to be honest, if we are basing something on “how” you feel,it really wont be completed. I know I’m right, because I’m not alone in feeling this. The annoyance of regret I feel when i didn’t push through or just stay commited is enough for me to understand, looking for something to motivate me, isn’t a reliable method to get things done.
So what do I think we should do to get things done, is "TIME MANAGEMENT! Oh my, the way I wish I could spend time divulging into that, but I’m not. I’ll keep it simple. The way to stay motivated is to understand that time will pass regardless if we are aware of it or not, and it comes down to how we view our relationshio with holding ourselves accountable. Now, I have recently realized that if you put a goal contigent on something else you want in the future, it brings a different level of obligation.
Regardless if you are able to complete what you set out to do, or fall short at times due to life and it’s effects on our emotions, I hope whatever you choose to spend your time doing, you are enjoying the moment and staying present.
